Local Author Fair 2025

In alignment with our commitment to promoting reading and writing, the Way Public Library is excited to host a Local Author Fair on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. We are pleased to offer tables to authors who wish to sell their books and engage with attendees about their craft. This event will take place on the main floor of the library.

We would be thrilled if you could join us for this event. Attached, you’ll find the application and an opportunity to share information about yourself. This will help us with event planning and publicity. Applications must be submitted to the library no later than noon on Friday, March 7, 2025. If possible, please include a headshot with your application for use in our promotional materials.

Table assignments will be made by library staff. Authors are responsible for staffing their tables, showcasing their works, and handling all aspects of book sales, including providing change and receipts. Space for this event is limited, and once full, we will not be able to accept additional applications. If we reach capacity, proximity to Perrysburg will be a factor in our decision-making process.

Notes:

  • Tables may be set up beginning at 12:30 pm and must be dismantled by 4:45 pm. (The Library opens at 1 pm – but staff will be available by 12:30 pm for entrance into the library.)
  • Wheeled carts will be available upon arrival to assist with unloading.
  • Tables supplied will be either 72” x 30” or 60” x 30”.
  • Authors will be limited to the space of one table top. Authors with one title will be assigned a smaller table.
  • Space is limited – we will be accepting applications on a first come first serve basis, also based on residence proximity to Perrysburg. We will stop accepting application once we are filled.
